In July 2015 Gowling WLG advised client Amey on a 23-year, £235 million partnership with Trafford Council for the provision of services including street cleaning, waste collection, highways maintenance street lighting and property services across Trafford.
The partnership, which began in July 2015, is intended to deliver substantial efficiency savings through combining services under a single provider and by a series of up-front investments, enabling savings without compromises to the quality of service delivery.
Director Dominic Richardson led a team of projects and infrastructure experts including Alexandra Poynter and Tim Smith, as well as a cross-sector team including Gus Wood, Paul Green, Lee McBride and Charlotte Brady.
