ENTRY FEE

The last year has shown the importance of digital coverage and cut-through. So this year we are enhancing The Lawyer Awards, expanding associated content, and introducing an entry fee of £150 + VAT.

For the first time, The Lawyer’s powerful content and audience reach will be used to spotlight not just the winners in their categories but to give meaningful airtime to shortlisted entrants through a mixture of interviews, video, longer-form analysis and more.

The administration fee will allow us to provide a broad platform and content marketing strategy across all our channels in 2021 through which our shortlisted firms, teams and individuals can raise their profile to the entire industry and to clients.

We firmly believe that the market-wide recognition that results from being part of The Lawyer Awards shortlist will, if used effectively, drive success and provide significant credibility.

See below for the NEW offers available to this year’s finalists!

1. Finalist logo

  • We will provide a category-specific logo that celebrates your status as an Awards finalist, for use across your own channels

2. Promotional copy

  • We will provide a statement from the judging panel highlighting why your entry was successful, for you to use to promote your success

3. Video shortlist announcement

  • You will be featured in our video shorts series, where our judges will profile each Awards shortlist

4. Digital Hall of Fame

  • An opportunity to provide your own short video highlighting your excellent work in your own voices, which will be published on The Laywer.com and promoted through our channels

5. The Lawyer Best Practice Yearbook

  • You will be included in The Lawyer’s Best Practice Yearbook, where we will turn the most fascinating and innovative entry content into a highly readable narrative and case study of best practice which you can then use in your own marketing

6. Invitation to TL Chat

  • A representative from your organisation who features in the submission (be that lead associate, in-house counsel, law firm leader, senior clerk) will be invited to an exclusive TL Chat with our editors and their peers, where we’ll discuss where the market is going and share challenges and insights based on our own learnings

Please note, should we be able to hold an in-person Awards ceremony later this year, we will ensure any entry fees paid are discounted off any ticket purchases.

This year’s Awards will also see us continue our partnership with the Free Representation Unit. As part of our enhanced content, over the course of the year we will be promoting the vital work carried out by the FRU, through editorial features and profiles of their volunteers and the projects they support.

The Lawyer is perfectly positioned within the industry to spread the word about the essential services provided by the FRU, and by donating our resources and expertise for the benefit of the FRU’s external comms we will give a voice to the causes they champion.
