Dewey’s ex Paris head sets up litigation boutique

The former head of Dewey & LeBoeuf’s Paris office, Olivier Laude, has set up a litigation and white collar crime boutique.

Laude Esquier Champey will have three partners, Laude plus former Dewey senior associate Richard Esquier and associate Victor Champey, and three associates also formerly at Dewey.

Laude said: “We have chosen to create a firm providing an alternative to international lawyer networks in the business litigation and arbitration field.”

Richard Esquier added: “Our main objective is to provide our clients and the market with an independent and highly-specialized entity in terms of dispute resolution.”

Laude Esquier Champey will specialise in TMT, banking & finance and distribution.
