Conyers Dill & Pearman has announced recent moves and developments from within the firm’s London office.

Conyers is moving to new premises on Finsbury Square in London, and director Linda Martin will take over as head of office in the region. With more than 20 years’ Cayman experience, she bolsters the firm’s Cayman capabilities in this key global market.

David Lamb, an M&A partner based in Hong Kong and co-chairman of the firm, said: “The London office is an important office for us which not only enables us to provide timely advice on Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands law and corporate services through Codan to the European markets but the office also has close connections with our offices in Dubai and Mauritius. Charles and Martin are relocating but we are proud to have Linda and Anne (who will join the Firm on 1 December) carry our flag in London.”

Charles Collis has just completed his four year secondment as Head of the London Office and is returning to Bermuda to focus on his busy insurance practice. David Cooke, head of the corporate practice in Bermuda said: “Our insurance practice remains extremely important to us and we are pleased Charles is returning to the Bermuda team”.

Further, director Martin Lane is relocating to the Cayman Islands office to support the steady growth experienced within the corporate and finance practice. Kevin Butler, head of the Cayman Islands office said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Martin to Cayman, his years in the London market will bring valuable perspective and expertise to our corporate and finance team”.
