Dawsons rebuilds with Linklaters department head

West End firm Dawsons Solicitors has boosted its ranks with eight appointments, including the notable hire of Linklaters‘ real estate asset management head Corinne Vincent.

Vincent joins Dawsons as a property partner, focusing on commercial property. She was previously a managing associate at Linklaters.

The hires see the West End firm place a troubled period firmly behind it. In 2004 Dawsons lost five partners and four assistants to rival Hunters.

Vincent is joined by Phillip Wood who also joins Dawsons as a partner in the employment team from Maxwell Batley.

Dawsons’ managing partner Mathew Rea said the eight appointments would bring growth “right across the firm, in our property, employment, litigation, corporate and private client departments”.

The latest appointments also include four associates. Anne Petersen joins from Stephenson Harwood in employment; James Riddoch from Winckworth Sherwood in property; Rosa Sanchez from Dundas & Wilson in corporate commercial; and Andrew Suggitt from Witham Weld in private client.

Dawsons has also hired two paralegals in the corporate commercial team and litigation group.
