Corporate partner Joel Wheeler has joined the firm’s London office and will focus on cross-border public and private M&A.
Corporate chairman James Stuart said: “We’re focused on growing our corporate practice in London. Joel has a unique ability to understand a client’s long-term business objectives and he’s going to be an important part of our team.”
This is the latest in a string of hires for Crowell & Moring’s London office. Earlier this year it hired Cohen Milstein Hausfeld & Toll’s former European managing partner Rob Murray for its antitrust litigation practice.
The firm also hired LG corporate partner Timothy Leeson in April and two other partners from Eversheds last year.
