Conflict over connection

British Telecom is being taken to the High Court by a property company which claims it lost out on management of a portfolio of 40 properties because of delay in connecting phone lines to new premises. Bletchley-based Castle Estates Relocation Services is also chall- enging contract clauses purporting to limit the level of damages payable for losses. The claim says a contract which would have earned Castle £36,000 in the first 12 months was placed with another firm because the potential client could not reach it by phone for six days.
