West Yorkshire firm Last Cawthra Feather has expanded its private client team in Ilkley with the appointment of two assistants, Amanda Lee and Nicola Troyna. Lee was previously with Hartley & Worstenholme while Troyna joins from Leeds firm Gordons.

Kingsfords has hired a new senior solicitor, Jonathan Howe, for its probate department, expanding the team to five full-time lawyers. Howe joins from Suffolk-based Gross & Co, where he was a partner specialising in trusts and estates.

Field Fisher Waterhouse has promoted six assistant solicitors to its partnership. The promotion of Greg Cain (employment), Judith Chrystie and Sarah Ellson (regulatory), David Gallagher (pensions), Andrew Lucas (technology) and Andrew Morgan (personal injury) takes the firm’s partner count to 87.

South West law firm Foot Anstey has appointed three new partners: Patrick Howard, who has been with the firm for four years, is an employment specialist in the company commercial team; Yvette Rooke, also at Foot Anstey for four years, is the family and childcare team leader; and Michael Gay joins from Clarke Willmott as a corporate specialist in the commercial property team.

Leeds firm Lupton Fawcett has promoted John Sidwell to director of finance and administration. The position is equivalent in status to partner.

Greenwoods Solicitors has hired Clare Rant as a new property litigation solicitor from Norwich firm HKB Wiltshires.

Steeles has hired two licensing lawyers: Deborah McCallum joins from London-based firm Joelson Wilson and Chris Hepher from South East firm Kidd Rapinet. The team is headed by Steeles managing principal Philip Hyde.
