Peter Crisp

The dean and CEO of BPP, Peter Crisp, is to leave the law school after 20 years.

He will depart at the end of June.

Crisp has been at BPP since 1997 and has ushered it through its purchase by Apollo Education in 2009 and elevation to university status in 2013.

Apollo itself was purchased by a private equity consortium for $1.1bn in February.

Peter Crisp said: “I have been exceptionally fortunate in my career at the Law School and feel especially privileged to have worked with wonderful clients, students and colleagues.

“Having started as a tutor on the Bar Vocational Course (as it then was) in August 1997, I have been very lucky to have witnessed the amazing journey of the Law School and I move on with very happy memories.”

Andrew Chadwick, Deputy Dean, takes over from Peter Crisp as acting Dean of the Law School
