Adding up the £1bn BLP-Greenberg Traurig merger talks

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) is one of a number of UK firms – see also CMS and Eversheds – which have long been on the hunt for a US merger partner. This week’s news that BLP is in merger talks with US firm Greenberg Traurig puts the firm one step closer to that aim and to creating another global £1bn powerhouse.
