Last year proved extremely good for Channel Islands-headquartered Bedell Cristin. The firm said its turnover had risen by 15 per cent.
This growth came on the back of a very slight decrease in headcount. Overall staff numbers dropped by one, to 156, and while fee-earner numbers remained static, lawyer numbers fell by three, from 76 to 73. The firm's partnership numbers fell by one following a retirement.
Bedell Cristin's partner to associate ratio of 1:1.5 remains unchanged and lower than many of its similar-sized peers.
