The firm has not made any promotions in its London office, but made up three in Bristol, two in Birmingham and a further two in Leeds.

Charlie Bending, Phil Roberts and Simon Arnold have joined the professional and commercial risks practice, while the property risks solutions practices is joined by Nick Basi and Martin Holmes. Liz Duley joins the injury risk partnership and Ron Simms the employment and pension practice.

Senior partner Simon Hodson said: “These promotions reflect our planned programme of targeted growth in our key business areas.

“Against this background of growth through acquisition it’s very rewarding to be able to promote home-grown talent and I’m pleased to say that three of the partners being promoted this year – Charlie Bending, Phil Roberts and Ron Simms – trained with the firm.”

This is the second year that the firm has announced partnership promotions outside the traditional season.

In November, last year the firm promoted two London partners, Tim Sewart and Udara Ranasinghe.
