Baker McKenzie has revealed its spring 2017 retention figures, keeping on 81 per cent of its qualifiers.

The firm made offers to 13 of its 16 trainees reaching qualification.

The corporate, tax, competition and employment teams will all welcome two newly qualified solicitors each, with the IT/commercial, banking, pensions, IP and disputes teams all taking one qualifier.

Baker McKenzie trainee principal Arron Slocombe said: “As a firm, we pride ourselves on attracting and investing in the best and brightest talent and we’re delighted to have once again been able to make offers to such a high proportion of our trainees.”
