Schoenherr has advised EQT VI Limited (“EQT VI”), together with Kirkland & Ellis, London, on the sale of Automic Software GmbH (“Automic”) to NASDAQ-listed CA Technologies Inc. (“CA Technologies”) at an enterprise valuation of €600m. The agreement is subject to customary anti-trust clearance and the transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017.

Most of the Global Fortune 500 companies, as well as many government agencies around the world, rely on CA Technologies to help manage their increasingly dynamic and complex environments.

The Schoenherr team advising EQT VI on the transaction was led by Christian Herbst (partner, Vienna; corporate/m&a) and Maximilian Lang (attorney at law, corporate/m&a). Additional members of the team included Michael Woller (counsel, IP/IT and life sciences), Alexander Mazevski (associate, corporate/m&a), and Teresa Waidmann (associate, labour & employment).
