Ashurst has recorded 90 per cent retention for autumn 2020, with 18 of its 20 qualifiers staying on at the firm in permanent nelwy-qualified (NQ) roles.

Three NQs join the disputes team, three go to corporate and another trio to real estate. Two NQs each then join global markets, projects and financial regulatory teams, with the final three taking up roles in funds, global loans and competition.

“We are delighted to welcome our newly qualified lawyers to the team,” said training partner Ruth Buchanan. “This represents our ongoing commitment to attract, support and retain the very best of talent. We wish them every success in what we are confident will be high performing and successful careers.”
