Zurich has cut its English and Welsh legal panel from 28 to 14 firms. The insurer, which previously had five separate panels, has created one central system. In Scotland, the insurer has dropped three of its five firms. All of the firms which lost out in the panel review will continue to handle run-off work. The new line-up is operational from January 2004.
