XXIV Old Buildings' Roger Kaye becomes a judge

XXIV Old Buildings silk Roger Kaye QC has been appointed to the bench as a judge in the Chancery and Mercantile Court in Leeds. During his 20 years at the set Kaye specialised in commercial disputes, including insolvency, fraud, asset tracing and recovery. He was appointed by the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry to investigate insider dealing in Anglia Television shares and the collapse of TransTec in 2000. XXIV's joint head Alan Steinfeld QC said Kaye had made a substantial contribution to the Lincoln's Inn set.
