What’s your favourite children’s book? Swallows & Amazons by Arthur Ransome.
What’s the most exciting case you’ve worked on and why? A House of Lords special educational needs case. My advice was ultimately vindicated after being dismissed in the lower courts.
If you were stranded on a desert island what two luxury items would you take? An iPod and an electric toothbrush.
What’s the longest you’ve worked without sleep? Four days.
If a movie was being made about your life, which actor would play you and why? Clint Eastwood, because he’s all action and few words.
