Sheffield firm Irwin Mitchell has increased its turnover by more than a fifth for the fifth year running.
`The firm has pulled in a record £59.1m turnover compared with £48.6m last year, up 22 per cent. And the firm has added 82 fee-earners to reach 660.`Managing partner Howard Culley refused to speculate on the increase in profits, which have yet to be finalised. But he said they had increased "both in absolute terms and on a per partner basis".`The two most successful practice groups in the past year have been the personal injury claimant team and the insurance services group. Personal injury work accounts for about 26 per cent of the total turnover, with insurance slightly higher.`Culley said: "Those two [divisions] have shown very good growth but we have had growth in general corporate commercial and private client areas as well."
