Wolf Theiss and CMS Hasche Sigle have scored lead roles advising on BC Partners’ e300m (£263.69m) acquisition of medical diagnostic company FutureLAB.
Wolf Theiss was instructed by longstanding client FutureLAB, with partner Dieter Spranz leading.
The firm has advised the medical diagnostic company since it launched in 2003.
Hasche Sigle partner Udo Simmat led a team advising BC Partners.
The FutureLAB deal came just as the private equity group acquired a 40 per cent stake in Synlab in Germany.
Spranz said: “We’ve been working very closely with FutureLAB since 2003. It started up as a joint venture and we’ve advised them on over 40 acquisitions since then.”
Simmat has advised BC Partners for more than 20 years. For the Synlab and FutureLAB deals he assembled a team of more than 30 lawyers in Germany.
