Winter remains on top at Taylor Wessing

Taylor Wessing has re-elected Martin Winter as senior partner to serve another three-year term.

Private equity specialist Winter has been a partner at Taylor Wessing since 2001 and took over the senior partner post from Richard Marsh in 2005.

He said: “With the move of our London office to a great new building at New Street Square only a few weeks away, this is an ­exciting time for everyone at the firm.”

Winter joined Taylor Wessing in 2001 from ­Pinsent Curtis Biddle, the legacy firm of Pinsent Masons, where he was ­senior partner. Before joining Biddle as a partner in 1985, he was an associate at Norton Rose.

Winter is a keen sportsman. He has run 11 mara­thons and was the UK’s champion in slalom waterskiing in 2000 and 2007.
