Winston & Strawn has suffered a second loss from its projects practice in as many months after Clifford Chance poached a second partner for its Washington DC office.
The former head of Winston’s project practice Chris McIsaac has joined Clifford Chance as a partner and co-head of the energy and projects group.
His departure from Winston follows hard on the heals of Lori Bean who joined the magic circle firm from Winston in December and is now resident in Clifford Chance’s Washington DC projects group.
David Evans, current head of the magic circle firm’s Americas energy & projects group, said: “We are very pleased to have Chris join our rapidly growing practice. He is widely known in the project finance industry for his expertise in the development and financing of international and domestic infrastructure projects.”
McIsaac's project finance expertise includes both lender and sponsor clients with a special emphasis on oil and gas power generation.
