Morgan Lewis & Bockius has raided freshly merged US firm Wilmer Cutler Hale & Dorr for a team of seven business and finance lawyers for its New Jersey office.
Partners David Sorin, Andrew Gilbert, Karen Leisten and Richard Mattessich are joining Morgan Lewis with one of counsel and two associates.
Sorin and Liesten are both technology specialists while Gilbert and Mattessich focus on corporate and securities law.
The Morgan Lewis drive comes less than a month after Washington DC’s Wilmer Cutler & Pickering and Boston’s Hale & Dorr completed their merger, creating a firm with combined revenue of $649m with around 1,050 lawyers.
