Latham & Watkins has poached four competition partners from US rival Wilmer Cutler & Pickering to launch a Brussels office. When it opens, the office will be Latham's fifth in Europe; it already has branches in London, Hamburg, Frankfurt and Paris. The new base will concentrate on competition law, supporting the antitrust operations of the other European offices.
