Willkie Farr & Gallagher has lost high-profile corporate partner Michel Frieh.
Frieh, a specialist in leveraged and management buyouts, is understood to be leaving for a leading UK firm’s Paris office.
At this stage, Frieh’s destination is unknown, although likely contenders are Allen & Overy, which could be looking to add a private equity specialist to its growing Continental European expertise in leveraged transactions, or Linklaters Paris office, after its loss of star private equity partner David Aknin to Weil Gotshal & Manges late last year.
