White & Case has continued its period of expansion in its global arbitration team with the hire of sole practitioner Kathleen Paisley.
Paisley, who joins the 30-strong London-based arbitration team, has spent the last two years building her technology and dispute resolution practice. She became a sole-practitioner after four years as online automotive business Oneswoop’s general counsel.
Paul Friedland, co-head of White & Case's international arbitration practice group, said that Paisley’s appointment is a sign of the expansion of the firm’s investor-State practice in Europe and of its London-based international arbitration practice.
The news follows the firm's announcement earlier this month that it promoted eight associates to partner in its London office.
