Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) has taken on a leading European Union lawyer and an associate from the Brussels office of White & Case, increasing its own Brussels partner count to three.
Christopher Norall co-founded the Brussels boutique practice Forrester Norall & Sutton, which merged with White & Case in 1998.
The New York-qualified competition and trade specialist is joined at MoFo by Belgian-qualified associate Rony Gerrits, who worked closely with him at White & Case.
Earlier this year, Norall advised Volbroker.com, a joint venture between six major banks. The business-to-business electronic trading platform was the first of its kind to win clearance from the European Commission.
Norall says: "I like the firm's emphasis on high-tech work and I was made an offer I couldn't refuse."
