Weil Gotshal & Manges is bulking up its Paris restructuring department with the hire of a team from US rival Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
The appointment sees partner Jean-Dominique Daudier de Cassini join Weil Gotshal along with three other lawyers. De Cassini’s arrival comes just weeks after Weil Gotshal lost restructuring partner David Chijner to Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson.
De Cassini’s move leaves Willkie Farr with just one restructuring partner, Alexandra Bigot, in France. He will share the role of head of restructuring at Weil Gotshal with partner Philippe Druon.
