Weil Gotshal & Manges has scooped an instruction from regular client Premier Foods on the £80m sale of its Typhoo tea brand to Indian conglomerate Apeejay Surrendra Group. In addition to buying Typhoo, the businesses acquired by Apeejay also include London Fruit & Herb, Lift, QT and other associated brands.
