Weil boosts Paris finance with senior A&O hire

Allen & Overy (A&O) is losing its Paris leveraged finance head Jonathan Nabarro to Weil Gotshal & Manges.

Nabarro, who joined A&O in May 2004 from Ashurst, is to jointly head up Weil’s French banking and finance practice alongside Emmanuel Ringeval.

He advises on a wide range of finance work including asset, structured and project finance.

Weil Paris managing partner Claude Serra told The Lawyer: “We’re extremely pleased to reinforce our banking and finance practice. We’re now coming to a very cohesive team with outstanding talents in their respective areas.”

The hire comes just one week after restructuring partner Jean-Dominique Daudier de Cassini joined Weil from Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
