Watson Farley & Williams has become the latest firm to announce that it is converting to a limited-liability partnership (LLP). The City firm's decision to convert follows the publication of research by Zurich Professional last month, which showed that 37 per cent of UK firms have ruled out converting to LLP status (www.thelawyer.com, 31 January). The report also found that 52 per cent of firms are yet to decide on the move. Watson Farley will convert to a UK LLP on 1 May 2005.
