Watson Burton sets up shop in Gherkin

North East rising star Watson Burton has chosen its new London premises. The firm will be based at the Swiss Re building, more commonly known as The Gherkin, choosing the London landmark over another shortlisted property on New Broad Street. The firm will sublet 3,000sq ft, with an option for a further 2,000sq ft, and will move in next month. As reported by The Lawyer (12 June), the London office will focus on property, construction and insurance work and will have six partners and four associates.
