Walkers welcomes eight to partnership

Offshore firm Walkers has made up eight lawyers to partner with a focus on investment funds and corporate work.
The promotions are in four of the firm’s offices and bring the total number of partners at Walkers to 57.
Four lawyers are promoted to partner in Walkers’ Cayman Islands office. Julian Ashworth and David Marshall are both investment funds specialists, while Rob Jackson and Nicole Pineda focus on finance and corporate work.
Finance and corporate lawyer John Gosling is made up in the British Virgin Islands, while Anne Forbes-Harper, who practises both corporate and funds law, has been promoted in London.
Hong Kong lawyers Ashley Davies and Fraser Hern have also been promoted. Davies is a corporate lawyer while Hern focuses on insolvency work.
Walkers also announced the promotion of 11 associates to the role of senior counsel, in its BVI, Cayman, Dubai, Dublin, Hong Kong, Jersey and Singapore offices. The focus again was on funds and corporate lawyers.
