Walkers launches HK funds group

Offshore firm Walkers has set up a Hong Kong-based investment funds group led by M&A partner Carol Hall.
Hall, who joined the firm as a partner in 2005, is a specialist in hedge funds and private equity and has 11 years’ experience working in the Hong Kong market. The appointment is part of the firm’s strategy to take advantage of renewed hedge fund start-up activity in the Far East over the coming year.
Hall said: “Asia, and Hong Kong in particular, have been focal points for Walkers’ growth in recent years and we’ve received an excellent response from our clients in the region.”
