Shakeel Dad at Walker Morris recently advised Championship side, Burnley FC, on a new contract with manager Sean Dyche.

Sean Dyche took charge of the Clarets in 2012 and is currently the 11th longest-serving manager in English league football. The deal reinforces the commitment from both the Club and the manager to continue to improve the Club and build on this season’s push for promotion to the Premier League.

The Walker Morris sports team has extensive experience of advising Premier League, Championship and League 1 football clubs on the full range of legal issues including employment contracts, sponsorship agreements, real estate and planning and Club sales and purchases.

This latest announcement reinforces Shakeel Dad’s credentials for drafting and advising in relation to contracts for Managers, Assistant Managers and senior figures such as Technical Directors and Chief Executives.  The drafting of Sean Dyche’s Contract follows Shakeel’s previous work in drafting and advising in respect of the contracts for managers including  Alan Pardew, Eddie Howe, Ian Holloway and Neil Warnock.

Earlier this year, the sports team also advised Crystal Palace FC on its major investment by US businessmen Josh Harris and David Blitzer and more recently on the purchase of Bolton Wanderers FC.
