Vinson & Elkins in associate cull

Vinson & Elkins is cutting up to 10 per cent of its associates following a year-end review. According to the New York Lawyer, the firm has asked 40 of its associates to seek new jobs, which is due in part to recent reviews and a lack of available work opportunities.
