Dutch independent Van Doorne has raided Lovells for the second time this year, this time to strengthen its real estate practice.
The firm has hired civil law notary Annerie Ploumen as a partner. She joins the Amsterdam office of Van Doorne, along with her entire team of four deputy civil law notaries, on 1 January 2006.
Earlier this year Van Doorne hired corporate litigation partner Guus Kemperink from Lovells. It also picked up Dirk Blaisse, a partner in the London banking and financing practice at NautaDutilh, in July this year.
Ploumen is a commercial real estate specialist with expertise in financing and securities, operational and financial leases, project development, PPP and setting up and structuring property (investment) funds. Her client base includes large companies as well as financial institutions, project developers and housing corporations.
