  • It would be interesting to see the PPP figures for these firms. Some US firms artificially inflate their PEP figure by lowering the capital contributions of some partners. They are "all equity" partnerships for all purposes except the AmLaw 100 calculation. That is having your cake and eating it. If the PPP figures for these firms ( which equates to their "real" PEP figure) were considered, then you would have to seriously question the viability of some of these second tier firms continuing to operate in London. The business model looks weak on paper, and the numbers prove it.
