US duo in $19bn share deal

The Japanese offices of two US firms are advising the Japanese telecoms operator NTT DoCoMo and the underwriters in the world's largest ever share issue - expected to raise $19bn. Sullivan & Cromwell's Robert De La Mater, in Hong Kong, and Izumi Akai and Mark Hunsaker, in Tokyo, are advising the issuer. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett's Tokyo-based David Sneider and Colin Jones are advising the underwriters.
