Litigation accounts for 45 per cent of Hugh James's practice, with property contributing much of the balance.
A 15 per cent increase in turnover (which included a 6 per cent uplift for FRS5) and a 20 per cent rise in average PEP, to £296,000, represents a satisfactory year for the Welsh giant.
Fees aside, it was a steady year and one that saw Hugh James grow slightly, with two additional partners, but the equity remains static at 32 partners.
