LEBOUEF LAMBGreen & MacRae’s London office
set the City alight in 2005, raising its turnover by
£8.3m, a 42.5 per cent increase, as the firm started
to reap the benefits of an aggressive lateral hiring
policy.
The firm operates an all-equity partnership, which
is entirely merit-based and reviewed annually.
London managing partner Peter Sharp sits on
the firm’s executive committee, which is responsible
for determining partners’ salaries.
The executive committee takes partners’
performances over the prior three years into account
when reviewing equity positions in a bid to ensure
consistency of performance.
The UK outstripped firmwide growth. Globally,
the firm saw a 29 per cent increase in turnover for
2005 to $440m (£236.32m), while the London
office’s turnover was $48.8m (£26.21m).
