Although average PEP rose by just 1 per cent
last year, Brodies remains one of the more profitable
of Scotland's major firms. PEP hit £241,000,
but turnover rose more significantly to £18.3m.
The figures reflect the heavy investment made
in recent years on new office space, technology and
talent - including former Tite & Lewis corporate
finance partner Iain Young, who joined in July 2004.
The practice is well balanced, with property providing
the majority (35 per cent) of revenues, followed
by corporate finance and banking , litigation
and employment.
