MIDLANDS-BASED Freeth Cartwright had a stellar
2004-05, smashing records in terms of both profit
and turnover.
Average PEP rose by 30 per cent to £190,000,
while the firm broke the £25m turnover barrier by
£200,000. According to chief executive Peter Smith,
the commercial services and commercial property
teams performed particularly well in a strong year
generally.
Freeth Cartwright moved into new offices in
Nottingham and Derby, a relocation which has
reportedly improved the firm's atmosphere and
work ethic enormously. Continued investment in
people across the past few years has brought numbers
to 60 partners and 82 other fee-earners.
