A stunning year for West End outfit Howard
Kennedy. Both profit and turnover rose significantly,
boosted by revenue from the first full year
since the acquisition of Amhurst Brown Colombotti
(ABC). Average PEP hit £340,000, up a staggering
48 per cent from £230,000, although there
are just 19 full equity partners out of 64. Turnover
rose 29 per cent from last year's £22m to £29m.
The ABC hires have brought Howard Kennedy
a significant amount of additional overseas work,
which now accounts for some 30 per cent of revenue.
Property, though, remains the bedrock of the
practice, followed by corporate, finance and media.
