North West firm DWF saw a 12 per cent profit
rise on an 8 per cent turnover increase this year,
bringing average PEP close to the £300,000 mark
for the first time. However, despite an extra seven
partners overall, the number of equity partners, at
19, remains small.
The standout departments were employment
and property, which saw 22 and 23 per cent yearon-
year growth respectively. Meanwhile, DWF's
root specialism of insurance work remained strong,
with plenty of work from key client Royal & Sun Alliance.
Business recovery was less strong, although
banking remained steady with new instructions
from Skipton Building Society and Yorkshire Bank
