Pannone & Partners benefited from a strong
year in commercial and corporate work to boost
average PEP by 10 per cent in 2005 to £245,000. A
stellar first six months carried through into the
second half of the year, resulting in a 14 per cent
turnover increase to £33.5m.
Corporate work now accounts for a fifth of the
firm's income, with litigation just dipping below
50 per cent for the first time. Employment and
property are strong performers too, with clients
such as Manchester Airport instructing Pannones
in 2005.
The firm looks set to continue its growth next
year, taking advantage of a number of hires at the
beginning of the new financial year, including
Weightmans' former planning head John Holmes.
