Maclay Murray & Spens continued to ramp up
its London presence last year with the acquisition
of City financial services boutique The City Law
Partnership. The deal came less than 18 months
after a similar bolt-on with property boutique
Fenners.
Helped by The City Law Partnership deal, Maclays
reported a healthy turnover rise of 13 per cent to
£43m. Net profit also rose, up 20 per cent on 2003-
04 to £13m.
