The dip in profit suffered by Dickinson Dees in
2003-04 was reversed significantly last year. PEP
rose from £280,000 to £326,000, a rise of 16 per
cent. The increase was thanks in part to the investment
the firm had made in recruitment, with key
hires including education specialist Rowan Ferguson
from Eversheds.
Dickinson Dees, the North East's premier firm,
also saw an increase in turnover to £43.8m. The
firm's strong projects, transport and mid-tier corporate
practices continued to perform particularly
well, while its private client group remains an anchor
for the whole firm.
