Milbank Tweed Hadey & McCloy's
London office saw a fractional increase in
turnover this year to £22m, while average
PEP nudged up to £254,000.
The firm's major European activity was in
Germany. It opened in Munich with Peter
Nussbaum, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's
former global co-head of private equity,
gaining a client in Apax Partners as a result.
In the UK, Milbank closed its first deal for
vulture fund Cerberus. The firm also
appointed its first female partner in the City,
project finance specialist Cathy Marsh.
The London office looks set to expand even
further over the next year, with the hunt for
larger premises in full swing, having
outgrown its current 19,000sq ft home. |
