FOUNTAIN COURT Chambers posted static
revenues last year. The set is still among the
commercial elite, with a highly commendable
RPB figure of £465,000, slightly behind
fellow magic circle members Brick Court
Chambers and One Essex Court, but ahead
of Essex Court Chambers.
The set's 14 per cent chambers contribution
and barrister to staff ratio of 1:0.32 place it in
the middle of the Bar Top 30 in these areas.
The set was largely absent from the House
of Lords and Court of Appeal last year compared
to its peers, with just three cases in the
Lords and 19 in the Court of Appeal.
Fountain Court's biggest ongoing case is
BCCI v Bank of England, in which Nicholas
Stadlen QC, Bankim Thanki QC and two juniors
have been acting for the bank. |
